Dead Horse Dreaming - Fate in Their Hands
i stayed up all morning yesterday, and only ended up getting 40 minutes of sleep, because i was putting this together. Sometimes it just can't be stopped. D:
Anyway, i had to edit it a little bit, but here it is, for now. Still will probably go back in and change the end, and maybe the latter half of the middle... but i really love the first two portions, up until HAL. That HAL sample is a good one, but i might end up saving it for something else, with more rhythm.
I wasn't quite as depressed when i made this as i was for the last couple, but i still think it's got the right dark feel to it.
More ambient-ish stuff. Enjoy.

I should really try and get some editing software again. I'd like to do most of the audio with my synthesizer, and add random vocal clips here and there like you have here, but I don't know what would be best. I know if I had a proper soundcard, I could use my Korg with Reason pretty seamlessly, but that's EXPENSIVE.
You can get a USB midi controller keyboard for like $100 or so... the thing about reason is that it does the synthesis part, so all you really need is the keyboard. Software synthesis kind of makes actual synthesizers obsolete a little i'm afraid (though they still sound better i think...) I know i haven't even bothered using my Wavestation in quite a while.
This is a dark version of...something...I can't place my finger on it...its actually more calming than anything to listen to. Kind of...droning? I'm not certain...but I like it...I could almost fall asleep to this...this is my favorite out of all the ones I listened to.
