Yep, there is always next year and we will be planning an event to run around the park and suit a bit more. I think a photo in front of the caves with all the suiters would be awesome. Forget a fursuit parade, how about a fursuit hike :) I really should start editing those vids from our hike up to the caves.

Sometimes you just have to get out there and give it a try. You know all the furs there are supportive and others outside the fandom people may judge, but hey they do for anything they find out of the norm and it doesn't help our cause to walk away with our heads down.

*nods* yea...the main thing that made me so embarassed was that my suit isn't nearly as awesome as all the other's there...

Well despite the "popularity contests" that people play, there are others who appreciate the time, effort, and moreso the character one has in suit regardless of if its the new popufur suit from whatever maker. Fursuiting isn't meant to be about standing around and waving so others can see what you have. It's meant to get out there and have some fun with it. Be you, or your character you want to be in suit. Have fun, entertain, and enjoy it. Thats what it's about, not some popularity contest.

yea. Hopefully next year I will break out of my shell and be a goof ball like everyone else hehe. I can be really hyper and happy after I get over my shyness.

It's in Oklahoma, about 1 or 2 hours outside of Tulsa. You should check out www.wildnights.org for the info on the con :) There will be some vids of suiters hiking around the entrance to one of the small caves.

You are probably thinking about Oklacon which is also in Oklahoma and held in October (www.oklacon.com). One of my friends from Louisville came out last year to Wild Nights. If he's still there for the next one, maybe you two could work out riding together or something.
