Thanks! I did indeed make it from scratch. Well, from as much scratch as any electronic music is.

The thing about the vocals is that what you're listening to here was entirely built around the vocal track. It's the first thing I had when I started working on this, so the vocals will definitely be there. They kind of need to be there. The first part of the track, which isn't posted here, would be entirely boring without vocals. I'll probably end up doing a dub remix of it when it's all said and done, but at the moment I'm focusing on finishing this track and a few more for an EP.
