well, it was a story in a old book my homeroom teacher for my last year of high school had in his room
i think it was caller "the brother's grim" or "grim fairy tales" or something
inside were some familare neursy rymes, and some that had been twisted, like cyndrella (who got her name from sleepinng int he fireplace. also, the wicked step mother acutaly cut her dauhter's feet inorder for them to fit the sliper, and the prince was fooled unitll a bird sang someting like "look look! blood on the trial, she is not hte one you seek"
as for the snow white-rose red sotry,it involved a bear that the girls took care of that turned otu to be a prince or soemthing in the end lol

OMG, it is by chance I have seen a cartoon on that. Years ago they had a cartoon series that showed a PG-13 view of a variety of old folk stories and fairy tales from a variety of sources. The story of that you mention is like one of those episodes. Never paid attention to the titles at the time though. I am betting the bear fought an evil gnome or goblin creature, right? LOL. ^\/^.
