Would one of Baloo's alternate outfits be his TaleSpin costume?
Not sure on Rey; if you include Star Wars, that leaves the Marvel door open, and CAPCOM has already done that. Though, granted, Star Wars would be more balanced with the CAPCOM characters than fighters like Baloo or the Zootopia characters. Maybe there could be special dialogue/cutscene if Judy Hopps meets a Resident Evil character and they briefly picture her in Jill Valentine's STARS uniform? Or Jill's STARS uniform is an alternate costume for Judy, since those outfits look similar?
Not sure on Rey; if you include Star Wars, that leaves the Marvel door open, and CAPCOM has already done that. Your so spot on with the ideas although I wouldn't have Baloo just in a Talespin outfit, I would have the Talespin version in the game as an alternative character with altered move sets including Kit Cloudkicker as his assist character as Mowgli would be the assist for Baloo.
As for Judy SPOT ON as she would look good in Jills outfit as and so would Jill or in this collages case Claire.
Also when Mickey mouse encounters Resident Evil characters he would keep mentioning Shinji Mikami (creator of Resident Evil and did Mickey's Magical Quest and Aladdin on the SNES) and they wouldn't know what Mickey's talking about. Hows that for an Easter egg.

I like that even better. It's also cool when characters can choose between movesets/styles, like Gen in SF Alpha series and Vanessa in VF4. Any other assist characters? I could see Louie showing up in the TS version.
I am guessing you would do the same variation with Shere Khan? Would Karny be an assist character in his TS version?
Also, would Bolt have actual superpowers, or would special effects men come up behind him when he does his special attacks?
Yes, having Judy and Jill in the game able to wear each other's outfits would be a great gag. Would Claire's alternate costume include her cowgirl one from RE2? Also, would different costumes unlock different movesets for these other characters? For example, RPD Leon would have less knife attacks than his later version (really hope that when they remake that they change his knife into a telescoping baton; see my DA for my thoughts on that and Street Fighter). Or Cody in his Final Fight costume would have different moves.
You do know that if Nick or Judy fight Talbain or Amaterasu, there's going to have to be special dialogue about starting a howl. That, or if there's a Zootopia fighting stage and Ammy or Talbain do their victory howls, the background wolf characters have to join them.

In light of the rerelease, I would also suggest adding Darkwing and possibly the Rescue Rangers to the roster or at least as supporting characters, given their history with CAPCOM.

My god where coming up with great ideas for this game. Yes Bolt would have his Super Powers including his Super Bark along with his 2 friends as his personal assist characters.
I wouldn't go that far with anthro Sher Kahn though that's a brilliant idea but Louie during an aatack would be great.
Also the alternative outfits that unlock new moves that ingenious. I also would love to include classic Dante, Virgil and Megaman as unlockable characters.
