well i have started on the tail
*twitches
*stares at 32 peices that have to be sewn together before each half of the tail can be sewn together
*looks at long fur bits that also have to be added to the top and bottom
*remembers she also has to hand sew 2 polka dots to the top
* and attach a base to the end and make the belt loops
*screams and falls to the floor twitching and foams at the mouth
i already traced out the shape, cut it, traced out the stripes, labeled each pice 1-8 and sides A and B and then cut the stripes and traced the pieces that needed to be pink onto the pink fur making sure the fur direction matched up and labled each pink peice. and all the while i could not suck up the cut fur with the shop vac as the mama kitty is in the room so i had to pick the loose fibers off by hand (or in the case of cutting the tail shape before cutting stripes....take it outside and beat it on a tree till all the fuzz flew off)

yeah i hate sewing >_< i love making heads and feet as i can glue 90% of those.

the curve is going to be reversed from the ref as the base curving down with the tip end curving up is MUCH easier to mount to a belt and much more comfortable to wear than had i attempted to have the base curving up and the tip curving down which would need extreme support and would aslo feel heavier (and would also grab doorways and knock people over a lot more)
