Amber was talking about an evil-party Pathfinder campaign, and I got to thinking about what sort of evil-aligned character I'd like to play. There's a monk archetype called the "Hungry Ghost Monk" that drains ki and life force from people, and I started wondering how, exactly, such techniques would be passed down from sensei to student.
I realized that a HGM might set up a martial arts dojo specifically for the purpose of training students, only to continually drain their youth and vitality and strength as they grew, almost like cultivating a herd to feed off of. My character, perhaps, adopted his master's teachings a little too well, and killed the sensei in his sleep before heading out into the world to take out his anger upon it.
I don't really have a name for him or a character build, but I just like the intensity of it. Monks, of course, are lawfully-aligned, and this monk has one law:
No one and nothing will ever, EVER feed on him again.
HE is the one who feeds.
