A Grumman TBF Avenger dropping it`s torpedo in a middle of a sea battle.
Allways liked world war 2 aviation. :) I tried to draw planes a few times before, but i allways fucked up with the wings. (they are a pain to get right) Well this one came out rather well.
( kinda failed with the backround & water surface though... : /)

Wow. Awesome detail Bro. The only critique I have is that a Japanese fighter wouldn't be down in their own flak. When fighters attacked low-level aircraft like torpedo and dive bombers, they dove in from above the flak and climbed out of their attack before they hit the AAA. Other than that, beautiful work...even the water surface.
Well, that's a definite possibility I guess. After all, Japanese fighters did descend to take out torpedo bombers during the Battle of Midway. Kinda sucked for them since they didn't know about the divebombers coming in and they couldn't climb fast enough to meet them. If you get bored sometime, I'd love to see what you can do with fighters.
