I had the pleasure of visiting the Mid-America Air Museum, in Liberal, Kansas this past weekend. This is the fifth-largest aircraft museum in the the United States with a collection of over 100 aircraft. Read more about it at http://www.kansastravel.org/airmuseum.htm and on Wikipedia at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid-A.....ica_Air_Museum
Should you ever find yourself in southwestern Kansas, reserve an hour or two for a visit.

Yes. That is the L-4, a Piper Cub with D-Day markings, I believe. One pilot said he could get airborne in 19 inches, presumably with a headwind. The German version was the Fiesler fi 156, the Storch. I worked with an engineer who was rebuilding one. He had two original engines to work with. But the L-4 is my dream vehicle.
wow that large plane to the far left... funny how many guns they just cram into the front of planes back then... (guess they were trying to make an A-10 warthog with the technology of the time lol.)
seems like there are quite a few of those planes by the looks of it (the american tech/advancement tree in WarThunder is filled with planes like that)
