Convinced myself to re-visit drawing Soul’s character Tea. Challenged myself to not look at any references at all while I drew it, because trying to reference anything was making me nervous. The challenge was also work without anatomy references or anything, so just sit and draw a character from memory/etc until the markings.

So yes, wonky anatomy all over the place, but no references which I’m really liking the result considering (I am amused at the tiny lil paws XD, also discovered that just shrinking the front half of the pet a bit matches it so much better, so maybe someday when I feel like sinking another hour into it I’ll tweak it lol). I worked a little too large for my hand so some things ended up not being right but that’s ok. Really wanting to challenge myself to draw some “actual” art vs just pet designs, I’ve almost entirely lost my ability to just draw. Tagging this because why not.

(And yes I know, it definitely didn't come out looking like a Jackal but I wanted to note the species since her character technically is)
