SO. I have a load of species. And to be honest, they're all a tiny bit crap. I also have one that's been in the works for an AGE that I never finished (Sock thieves)
So I figured, take the best parts of all of them, re-work them into ONE, open species, and just let people have at.

These guys are super smol, though obviously for art reasons I guess you can have them at any size really. But even at "humanish" size, I'd like for them to stay in the 4ft range.

They're hearts are in their heads, and it's like.. a social thing to touch foreheads, as like a greeting/goodbye/i love you.
It's a respect thing.
They're super kitsch, they make shit out of odds and ends they find about people's homes. They're almost seen as "pests"because they often steal one sock from a pair, to use for things like bedding, clothing, or other things.

Depending on what they're most skilled in, they will either veer off to Sewing/clothes making/building cute shit, or they'll veer into electronics, tampering, fixing, making, (The electronics tend to be responsible for tangling peoples headphones up, or wifi going down, programs being uninstalled, or just fiddly bits of electronics going missing.

They don't have conventional names. Depending on what skill they veer into will depend on their name types. eg;

Wire
Bolt
Nut
Bulb
Spark
Circuit
Coil
Bayonet
Beam
Glitch
etc etc

Sewing/Making;
Bobbin
Button
Seam
Hem
Stitch
Needle
Pin
Patch
Pocket
Pleat

Yarn
Wool
Cotton

Their brains are spread throughout their tails, If they loose more than half of their tails, they will die.
Their tails need to be kept warm, so they will often place socks on their tails.
If their tails get too cold, they become slow, and eventually dormant.
