You/your ref sheet said that Ember is never drawn in very happy situations and she is in chains a lot............. and your reading reflected that haha! I used the Ghosts and Spirits deck by Lisa Hunt. It's beautiful and traditionally-illustrated deck that illustrates legends of spirits from around the world, with a lot of blues and whites in the colors. It tends to lean a little towards the bleaker side of interpretations, which I thought would fit your character well.

We did a regular past-present-future-influence reading.

Past: Knight of Swords - You were particularly gung-ho about an idea, but may have pushed it too hard and damaged a relationship.
Present: Justice - Something you’ve done or been involved with in the past is catching up to you, good or bad. Be aware that what you are thinking of doing will affect others, and your future self.
Future: King of Swords - A powerful masculine individual will drastically change the direction your life is going. They may appear brash or cold, but you will be able to learn from them if you use your head.
Influence: The High Priest- Seeking guidance or advice from someone a trusted position

I interpreted this reading to mean that you are feeling held-back by something caused by your or another's actions in the past (represented by the chains). If you seek guidance or advice from someone in a trusted position (represented by the character holding the key to the chains), they will cause a disruption in your life, good or bad (we don't know if this shadowy figure will unlock her or just harass her from this image). But, whatever this individual's actions, you can learn from them and use the experience to improve your life. They have the key -- we just don't know if you have to trick it out of them or if they will hand it over willingly.

I hope you like it! This was an interesting character to draw. I modified her outfit to be SFW and I hope It still fits her style. I thought dark leather would fit the scene :>'

I've also never done a card reading for anyone not in-person. I hope it makes sense. It definitely followed a theme, though I did take a darker approach to interpreting it than I might if I saw you face-to-face/understood your general situation better xD
