(Just a heads up that charging PayPal fees is against Paypal's TOS and illegal to do! Best to build it into your prices Only mentioning because I had two friends get it with hefty fines (over $3k) because they were asking for paypal fees to be paid and I'd hate to see it happen to anyone else!)

but basically in my 100th commission she came over my house :P and I'v got lana being lazy at her house drawing on her tablet that i'm working on :P so its kinda like me sticking my head in the window to see what she's up to lol :P

And really? @_@ That seems so odd. After all it's just a price addition, I guess I could name it othetwise... But this is just sick how much money corporations and taxes take away from You. It's depressing even. Notto mention stuff like Patreon, where Patreon takes a bite, then paypal takes a bite and in the end You need to pay the tax for the already halfway nommed sandwich You received >_>

Yeah, it's ridiculous but Paypal is a service so this is how they charge people for using their service. There are plenty of other options but TBH, paying the small fee for paypal is worth it for the protection and security.
Since your prices are set, it wouldn't be difficult to just include the cost of the paypal fee in the price. I use this http://thefeecalculator.com/ to figure out if I want X amount, that I have to charge Y amount.

edit: you might be getting away with it now but one commissioner including in their note "cost of comm + pp fee" is more than enough to have paypal breathing down your neck. They lock up your money and fine you and no one wants that!

Oh, thanks for letting me know. I will try and work this thing out for myself.
I only do this, becasue I see other people do this around here and on sites like DA too @_@ It would be quite difficult to figure this out once I get a bit of time for myself.
I always send invoices though, so it's not like I ever get any paypal money transfers that are named by the commissioner. Plus it's always me who counts the price, so they get the final price only. I don't think they even consider it as a price + pp fee.
But ofc I wanna stay safe I will think of how to deal with this.
But them terms of service are so tricky. For example of Patreon, You're technically forbidden to do patron raffles - but - the site itself, when You start doing Your own patreon, gives You a few examples in which they recommend to do raffles for patrons, as it attracts attention. So.. don't do it, but.. do it? When I asked, the staff was confused and thy told me just to keep my raffle going then .-.
