A talented politician, it was well that Guy-Claude Rosseu became the face of the Movement that would bring about the Highland Republic. Following Grandfather's death, Rosseu became the Republic's first Chancellor, ensuring Grandfather's vision would endure.

Guy-Claude is the invention of a good friend of mine, Jack, from a DnD session (though the character's name is changed). His character is one of four highly influential men (player characters) during the Unification period of Republic history. This particular character is the former Minister of the Navy for a region known as Domasque, and is very, very wealthy. He is the Master and Commander of a fourth-rate known as the Hinterland, and is deadly with a rapier (and a pistol, so an unlucky pirate found). The players are taking part in a campaign to make the Republic a reality, and their actions in the campaign are helping to shape the world of Corinth.
