Would you like to take a survey?
I drew this as the final reminder to my survey (you can still take at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JDZY2RJ )
To those who have already participated, thank you! Have a puppy! (And a sample of what shaded sketches look like.) Did you know that if you go to the survey link you can change your answers and see the results? It's true. You can try it here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JDZY2RJ
To those who haven't, how can you say no to eyes like those? Once again, the survey is at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JDZY2RJ
Notes:
This took four days (old ladies do not take kindly to young commuters not yielding their seat! "But I'm working!" "And I'm old" but anyway)
I started drawing a short-haired dog with a mechanical pencil, but realized halfway through I only had number 2 mechanical pencils and needed some clay pencil marks (HHB or numbers 1 and 0) especially for those lighter colors. The pencils I have for those are not mechanical, and the tip became blunt faster than I expected. Being sandwiched between commuters, sharpening was not an option, so those tiny claws and hairs became clumsy long thick strokes. Deciding to make the best of a bad situation, I decided on the fly that scruffy dogs were cuter, and the result is what you see here.
(yes, all links are identical, except for the first one which goes to [url=https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8113610/the journal[/url])
