Taras sat upon her throne, looking at her undisciplined rugrats running around like they hadn't a care in the world. How tired she was of mothering them, trying to mold them into disciplined soldiers, but it's like they refused to listen. She twirled the goblet in her hand. How long had he been gone? A few days? A month? Seems like eternity. She was tired of being alone, tired of trying to be something she knew she wasn't good at.

At least she didn't have to change them anymore. They weren't half bad fighters either, when they felt motivated, she guessed.

But it was Sekkron who taught them how to read and write, Sekkron who taught them how to survive and hunt, and Sekkron who brought home the gold.

Ohhh yes, the gold.

He and his little ragtag group took him away telling him much was at stake, or something. She wasn't listening. She just wanted him home. She wanted him dealing with the rugrats, and wanted him to get her on her back and...

"Hey there little heroes."

"DADDY!" said the youngest.

She completely forgot about the goblet in her hand in that single instant.
