Even though I'm a little bit late for "Throwback Thursday", I'm still posting the third (and final) 'photo-op' from a series of digital pictures that my brother Glenn took (with his smartphone) back in late February, 2017...

Spending that Saturday in a section of Parkland, Florida that has private farms - with all sorts of animals - made our day... especially when we'd encountered a donkey on one property, who was friendly enough to approach the fence and allowed us to pet it (on the back of his head and on his nose).

My only regret that I'd wished that Glenn was a better (and more patient) photographer. When he tried to capture me and the donkey with his smartphone, the latter subject chose that moment to bow his head. Still, it was a great day to commune with nature - even if it only came in the form of domesticated farm fauna!
