As some may remember, I recently made a new expanding foam head base mold not too long ago. I have a handful of heads and suits in my queue right now, all of them canines. Before I start using this mold for any of them I wanted to have a test run under my belt. That way I can see any issues with proportion and things like that before I use the bases for clients orders.

With that in mind I threw together this adorable fella today! I tried to keep customizations to a minimum on him so that I could see the true shape of the base once furred. I did give him more brow padding though because I intentionally left the sculpt rather flat in that area so it could be easily modified for different expressions.

Tomorrow(saturday) was going to be a day off for me to recover after my work week(keep in mind, I only give myself 1 day off a week) but I think I may use it to work on this guy! I am just so happy with how he's turning out!!

He is going to be a silver, orange and black cross fox. I'm opting to go with a bright orange because I don't think I've seen an overly toony cross fox suit. Most try to stick with more natural furs =P
