After 3 years of intensive work on the French TV series, I finally got a break that I needed so much in 2017. And what better place to go was Japan. The last time I visited Japan was at the age of 12, (that was like 24 years ago) I have been wanting to visit Japan eversince the 1/1 scale Gundam statue was erected on 2009. And for the Past years I have been working really hard on my entry for GWBC to win a trip to visit the Gundam statue, but sadly my Gunpla are not even complete until today due to work, especially on my previous french TV series project that took 3 years to complete, here is a link to the show if you are interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxlW_zjidlM currently it was being shown on Netflix, and responses are sorta OK. I will talk more on another post later.
After the Project was completed, I decided to take a 1 week holiday in Tokyo on February 2017. What perfect timing that was, as I found out that the Gundam statue will be taken down on March 2017. I still manage to see it for the first and last time. Seeing the Gundam statue up close in person was really a far cry experience compare to seeing it on the books, magazines and internet, it was really a beauty on how majestic and detail it can be when seeing it up close in person. It was a mixed feeling, happy to see it and sad that it will be dismantle soon. I stare at it for a long 30 minute to enjoy it awesomeness despite the cold weather. Besides that I also visited Ghibli museum and visited all model shop in Akihabara. Overall I really enjoyed the Japan trip and wish it never ends.
A recent good news is that a 1/1 scale Gundam Unicorn will replace the current RX-78 statue within 2017, it gives me more reason to work hard to win GWBC to visit Japan again.

It's great to hear from you again, and adding onto that is that you managed to visit the Gundam statue.
About that animated series you briefly mentioned that you worked on... I believed that I might have seen small clips here and there some time ago (as well as small jokes heard from my friends in passing), gotta say that the work done there is pretty slick and smooth (I might need to catch up on that series to get a feeling of what it truly is).
