True, I get that a lot of times people want the curves to be bigger and bigger and bigger; but there comes a certain point where if you do it too much the non expanding parts (lower legs/arms/head) start to look weird. It's all about finding the right balance, even if an artist is good at drawing curves, the balance is kinda more refinement and perspective rather than drawing technique, and every artist is a bit different about it.
