I've had these characters since 8th grade, and finally got around to properly remaking them!

The story takes place after humans wipe each other out. Mother nature has a council with the deities of the animal kingdoms, to see which species will evolve to rule the earth. After much deliberation, she decides to let (almost) all animals have a go at it. Mammals, amphibians, reptiles, and birds all get to evolve and procreate, while fish are a bit of a primitave middle ground and insects end up being the livestock and wildlife.
