It's been a long time coming, but officially my largest YCH and illustration to date is done!
This was sponsored by MosaicsGrace who approached me a couple months ago about doing a Romani Caravan styled piece. I thought it would be a fantastic idea, but he did not have enough characters to fill the piece so we agreed on doing a YCH for it. I think a few of these people know each other in real life which makes it kind of a special piece! I imagine those that are not close friends are just along for the ride, waiting until they arrive at the next destination to part ways. But in the meantime, no performer can resist taking part in joyous song and dance.
I asked MauAbata to create a few stanzas of a song to go along with this piece! He did an amazing job and I hope it helps convey the atmosphere I was going for when creating it. He even wrote a melody which you can listen to here. Thank you to all the commissioners featured in this, I appreciate the support and continued patience as I worked through this massive piece!
