Wowee, what a story this is. I was doodling a dragon one night and thought "hm, I need inspiration", so I googled some stuff and came across art by Arvalis (who is EXTREMELY talented by the way, just look at his gallery: http://arvalis.deviantart.com/).

I had seen his work before, specifically the super-realistic Pokemon he's painted, and I resolved to contact him and tell him how much I appreciate his work and skill. Much to my surprise, one thing lead to another, and now we're getting married we're having an art trade! To be honest I never expect to be recognized by people who I perceive to be better and more professional than me (call it my perpetual "senpai notice me" condition), so I was floored when he agreed to a trade.

This is Arvalis's end of the trade - he drew my dragon, Dagommoth! He only had time to do a sketch (he has a full-time gig and all), but just look at the level of detail. The mastery of musculature, perspective, and form. Even down to the tiny row of teeth inside Dagommoth's mouth (hard to see without the full-res version). This, my friends, is true skill. And I'm humbled that someone of such mastery (and limited time) found my art worthy enough for a trade TuT but that's enough brown-nosing on my part lol. I'm on to my part of the trade - drawing his busty, milky dragon succubus lady <3 I'm sure you guys will enjoy her ;D I'm also going to try to not ruin this pic while I color this, so expect that as well :3
