Character: Bedwyr is a stoic fellow, like most followers of Jude, but is something of an oddity among that group in that his pursuit of knowledge includes forms of combat. He is known to display an aura of calm, even when fighting, but harmful actions against the downtrodden (such as the persecution of Tricksters by Elementalists) have been known to severely strain his stoic demeanor.
History: Bedwyr studied at Hero High during his youth. His devotion to Jude caused him to excel at the written subjects, but he also did fairly well at swordsmanship, teaching himself to fight effectively with either hand. He kept mostly to himself at HH, only making one lasting friend there: a Shapeshifter.
Bedwyr has been in semi-retirement ever since he lost his right hand in battle, though he will occasionally fight when called upon. Mostly though, he's found tending his library.
Bedwyr was quite surprised when Jude gave him his "third eye", and still wonders how he became worthy of the honour.
