The player makes it to the bottom of the mountain, and see's Anemone waiting for her. The player is so happy and lets Anemone know- the goddess is going to be ok! and her plant is a GOD!! but... Anemone doesn't seem too phased by this..? He says nothing, and keeps walking with her. Water.. water... where is there any water that's not frozen?
They head past a rather colorful field of cloud plants, and a sad weeping is heard.
They find a bright colored dragon, tied up in what seems like thorny plant vines. Before the player can ask for help-- Anemone is gone yet again. Oh well.. she unties the taffy dragon Bonomo, who is very elated to see her. He scoops her up in a hurry, and flies back to where the goddess was resting. When they arrive, Cumulus is there waiting. "Ah! You’re back with your partner! That took… quite a long time for you two to meet! The dragon lands, and spits out an orb of water that is not frozen. ...Wait, partner?
"The goddess told me that Bonomo was her pet she sent to assist you!" Cumulus tells the player. But... Anemone said he was-
"player.... I lied"
Suddenly, the last orb of water is stolen. Anemone drinks a fraction of it, and grows immeasurably in strength. "Give me your plant, player" The player refuses, and asks why. "Because we don't need anymore gods up here. Without Tohil, it won’t be long until they’re all just a myth."
The final boss fight begins.
The player fights with what little power she has, due to her plant companion being so weak. However... the two are not alone. Bonomo joins the fight, and when things get really rough... Cumulus joins in when Anemone starts fighting unfairly. It's a long, grueling battle with all of the gods watching in their weak state, but.. the player get's the orb of water back, and gives it to the plant immediately. In seconds, it's leaves begin to grow- and it explodes into a massive being... a god. The player unleashes one final attack alongside her plant god, and Anemone is destroyed.
They stand before the goddess, and the plant drips a venom on her- a powerful toxin that will cause her sickness to negate. The goddess opens her eyes after so long and cries heavy tears. She gives the player a soft hug with her immense size, and thanks her. The air.. the clouds... everything begins defrosting, and the skies open up. For the first time this whole journey, it rains. Oiseau, Pheedback, and Scoria all look up from their lands. It's a miracle... and the player is thanked by every single god at Nimbus Nebula. However, her journey is over... and it's time for her to head home. Cumulus offers her a way home, but makes her promise one thing. "Even though our land is a resting place for the gods, it wouldn't do us any good to keep your plant here... It would be better for him to keep your home safe. So please, look after him and yourself."
From here, the player and her plant companion travel to home sweet home. She is greeted by everyone in her village, who celebrate the good she has brought. The small, powerless girl who started such a daunting journey... had grown and show more heart then any story could tell.
