What do get when you cross The Get Along Gang with a steamroller...?
( Zipper's not sticking around to find out, he's seen "Prometheus", he knows what happens when you run straight ahead and not to the side...) :-D
N.B. This is quite an old picture that's been up on Deviant Art for several years.
("Quad Crown" A 30in x 60in (762mm x 1016mm) outdoor poster size, used for cinema and theatre posters.)

I incidentally found that Portia Porcupine is missing though, a very nice artwork because there is few, if any, who draws those full core members of the Get Along Gang by now. It is hard for me to believe that more than thirty years have passed since that cartoon show was created. How fast the time flies though, I wish you to keep drawing and introducing those fancy characters.
Portia's missing because the composition is "busy" enough as it is. There simply wasn't room for her in the picture. I'll leave it up to others to wonder what's become of her or whether the others will make it or not...
BTW All DiC episodes were released on region 1 DVD late last year.

Though most of the physical comedy featured is circus clown/pie in the face type stuff, there are a few isolated moments, that encroach on "Tom and Jerry" territory, which might catch some people off guard.
It's established in universe that being run over or having something heavy fall on someone is a very bad thing but being slammed by a door does once result in a character being flattened out and there are other instances of characters bending or defying the laws of physics and biology scattered throughout the series. Even though they are few and far between, the fact that that they're present at all is a minor miracle, so many similar shows of the time seemed to actively shy away from even the mildest forms of slapstick.

is this some sort of rant? xP this show reminds me of the style of chipmunks, targeted for younger audience with alot less violence. in that age I still have never been a fan of such mild shows. I allways enjoyed tom and jerry-like of humour, like in rockos modern life. its target audience is far broader, targeting to teens and young adults alike. then there are shwos obviously targeting to adults like american dad or simpsons, making use of crude language and jokes as people of that audience enjoys that sort of view on life.
