(QUICK NOTE: I'm looking for alpha testers for a new RP system I'm working on, more info in my journal or send me a note)
EXTENDED CERBERUS DOSSIER:
Galen Rimorus
Class: Soldier
Preferred Weapon: M-12 Locust Akimbo
Likes: Western Movies, Horosk, Marlboro Reds
Dislikes: The Geth, The Citadel Council, Regulations and Red Tape
HISTORY:
Galen was born on Palaven, in the capital city of Cipritine and had a fairly normal Turian upbringing. He performed his civil service at the age of 15, serving in the Turian military and training as a Ranger until his tour of duty was up at the age of 18.
Galen moved off Palaven at 19 and moved to the Citadel to apply for C-Sec, his military background serving as a strong case for his application. during his training, He met a Human by the name of Frank Heller, who was also fresh off serving in the Alliance Navy at the age of 21. The two quickly formed a friendship and were made patrol partners once they'd finished their training.
Living in a new place with only a human friend meant Galen was exposed to alot of human culture and tradition. Frank had showed Galen classic western vids from the 20th century, and Galen was enamoured with them immediately. Galen in return showed Frank the delights of the Turian drink Horosk... which knocked him out cold for 2 days.
AS OF MASS EFFECT 1:
at the age of 21. Still serving on C-Sec and still partnered with Frank, The pair had seen a couple of promotions and high profile busts between them but Galen was becoming more and more aggrevated by the system as he was becoming surrounded by more and more red tape.
He'd had several conversations with fellow Turian Officer Garrus Vakarian about leaving to try go make a difference elsewhere, like the heroes in his favourite western vids. Vakarian seemed to be having similar misgivings, yet convinced Galen to stick with C-Sec.
DURING MASS EFFECT 1:
Galen continued serving on C-sec right up until the point of the attack by the Reaper; Sovereign. When the Geth boarded the Citadel, C-Sec found themselves on the frontline against an unfeeling enemy. Galen lined up with his fellow officers, grabbing an M-8 Avenger from the rack and ran into the halls and promenades of the Citadel to take the fight to the Geth. Until Reinforcements in the form of the Asari and Turian navies could arrive.
Galen found himself defending the council hall elevator, gunning down wave after wave of Geth and watching his fellow officers fall one by one. some even turned into husks. Eventually, Galen took a blast from a stray grenade and was knocked unconcious, floating in the waters of the Citadel promenade and ending the battle for him.
BETWEEN ME1 and ME2:
after the battle for the Citadel, Galen quit C-Sec and headed to the Terminus systems. wandering and drifting, doing odd jobs and small time mercenary work.
AS OF MASS EFFECT 2:
Galen had found his calling, acting as a vigilante in the Criminal infested Terminus Systems. Trading in his C-Sec armor for a makeshift suit of armor, made of simple combat clothing, light weight armor plates and duster flap hanging from his belt, giving him the sillouette of a gunslinging old west hero. He perfected the skill of using two pistols at once, in combination with the jump pack tech built into hos armor. he would hop into the fray, blasting away with 2 M-12 locusts and hitting his target before they knew what hit them.
DURING MASS EFFECT 2:
now at the age of 23, Galen found solid work as a Mercenary, being sure not to stray from his moral code of protecting the weak and punishing the cruel and greedy.
His desire to help people was being sated but he had one other dream, to discover the next wild frontier, and perhaps he'd get a chance to when he heard about 'The Andromeda Initiative'
BETWEEN MASS EFFECT 2 and 3:
Now 24, Galen signs up as security personnel for the initiative and leaves for Andromeda aboard the Turian Ark; Natanus.
DURING MASS EFFECT 3:
In stasis aboard the Natanus.
