Oh honey, I ran that pun into the ground with the title of this series.

*is new here and thusly confused*

One of my first larger term projects was " Machine " but after concluding it, I felt like I left out a lot of things, and thus felt unsatisfied. A year later, having sat with it, I returned to this project from the start which I'm now calling Machine:SR ( system reboot ) Because I'm an ass who likes puns.

*chuckles* man.. you're quite the prolific writer? Not sure if comics is 'proper' writing per-se.. maybe.. prolific arter then? Anyways, I'm enjoying all your story 'threads' and the like... One thing.. well two.. that i'm wondering about.. are all these ideas taking place in the same universe? Just different times or places in said universe?

And second.. what's up with the 'machine 2' story?

Separate universes for each story unless it shares the title. Machine 2 is a comic that takes place in the same world at an alternative time and location. I intend to continue work on it, but I follow my feelings and heart on when to continue. Sometimes the absence is extensive

Nice to see another story here, though... why program a robot to feel annoyance? Doesn't seem like that would particularly come in handy for any worthwhile purpose. XD

It makes the robot think harder. Like, if you make a movie or something that involves using a big chunk of computer memory for a second, it'll take minutes.

In this case, thinking more is less by having the power to want to hear as few words as possible.

That's a good point, though it would appear this robot is emotionally driven, hence implying that it doesn't even want to give its name because they're not friends. Nothing wrong with a story showing a robot acting that way intrinsically, of course, and I trust Shane's writing ability to make something really cool out of this whether it's a retelling or a reboot, but my personal preference would be more along the lines of one that would default to being friendly. ^^

I hope this ends as well as it did last time.
