Welcome to Frappuchinos! Now Serving: Driving Home
Sorry for the lateness. Sunday was too much fun!

"This has been one hell of a weekend," Venti said as the scenery once again flew past.
"Yeah, but it could've been a lot worse," Otis said, adjusting his sunglasses while keeping one hand on the steering wheel. "Ted could've been really hurt bad instead of having a concussion and scraped up bad."
"Not even a broken bone. That was probably the slowest hit and run I ever heard of, I think."
"You guys can stop talking about me like I'm not here," Ted growled from the backseat of the truck. "And the guy who hit me didn't drive off, so it wasn't a hit and run."
"It's almost as if I can hear my little brother's smarmy voice behind us, Otis." Venti tried to keep a straight face, but a grin started to form on his muzzle.
"It could be because he's in the backseat with us."
Venti looked over his shoulder, acting surprised to see Ted. "I'll be damned! You're right, Otis! We got a stowaway!"
Ted frowned. "I hate you, Reggie."
Venti shook his head sadly. "Now is that any way to treat your older brother's generosity? After I suggested you come to Reno and stay a few days with me until you recover from your concussion?" His grin returned, white teeth appearing as his lips pulled back. "I could've let you stay with the folks, but the doctor said no stress."
"I'm beginning to think my old geezer of a brother might be more stressful than Mom."
Venti loosed a bark of laughter. "As if!" he said, resuming his study of the landscape ahead of the truck. The Sierras were still far off, but Venti thought they were still one of the best reasons to live where he did. The view of the mountains was breathtaking to him, leaving him unable to hear Ted's reply.
Otis's voice brought him back inside the truck, though. "That's the best comeback I've ever heard, Ted. You're lucky Venti won't touch you in your condition."
Venti blinked. "What did he say?"
"Nope, I ain't sayin'," Otis said. "You snooze, you lose."
"I'm gonna noogie you instead of Ted then, Otis."
"Bring it on, old man."
