Jevuvahr is the name given by the Mantaidan to their more primitive cousins. The Jevuvahr are quadrupedal canines from the Earthlike Planet Keta in the Dendrix star system, 575LY from Earth. Jevuvahr are the fourth native sentient species of Planet Keta, a reclusive, spiritual people who shun outsiders as well as technology. High technology of any sort is actually forbidden for use among the Jevuvahr, as this is seen as the antithesis to the purity of nature. They are a people content to live in the wilds, surviving on nature’s bounty as their ancestors always have. Jevuvahr cunningly hunt in packs, preferring to use their natural claws and teeth to bring down prey. The name Jevuvahr comes from the ancient Mantagh tongue, with the closest translation being “Wolf men”. The Jevuvahr are often seen in the company of the djevu, or Ketan wolf.
