This is what I was working on for
vera's socked folio until I realized the deadline was pushed back a bit, giving me more time to hammer out the kinks before I submit it. I show it to you now because I am struggling with certain aspects of it and it'd be nice to get some opinions on what to work on before I proceed. Some things strike me as odd and I'm feeling very out of it right now so any input would be greatly appreciated.
:edit: To be more specific, I feel very uneasy about the legs and perspective. I seem to have went by the flow of my stroke rather than a physical structure and it's hard for me to feel it out when it flows so naturally (if that makes sense).
And btw, the odd structure on the hips and whatnot is part of a mechanical tail. I'm still in the process of figuring out how I want to factor it into the drawing so it remains unfinished for now.
:edit2: I have a much better idea on what to work on now. Thanks!

I know I've been absent from the internets lately and although I would normally take this time to issue some updates but... well... I got nothing. It's just hard to keep up with at times when I'm preoccupied by so many other things. I wish you all well though. I just hope noone gets offended by the lack of contact~

The only thing I can see that might be considered off is the length of her torso. From the shape of her mid-drift and where the ribs apear to round off, her torso is about 20% longer than average 'human' scale. I don't know if that even applies here, but her ribs seem to end in the middle of her torso when the are supose to reach 3/4th of the way down. This causes me to think her mid-drift is a bit stretched.
Elsewise; I enjoy partially clothed girls, it leaves more to the imagination and fuels the fantasy. Also, the drape of her apparel is just right and socks cling in a very realistic manner. Can't wait for the finished product.

dynewyzard nailed it. The torso's a little too long; I was looking at the legs for a while, but I really can't see anything specifically off with them. The only other thing I can see is that her hips look slightly off-kilter. From here, it seems like her hips are a little too far to my left as compared to the rest of her body. They might need to be shifted a little more to the viewer's right, maybe turned a little bit in that direction...
fuck, I wish I could explain that better.
Aside from that, though, I think this looks fantastic. The grin on her face is stunning, I'm LOVING the open shirt/necktie, and her shape is just marvelous. Awesome stuff, man.

I agree with what some of the others were saying. but since it's digital, I do believe it would be fairly easy to change if you were so inclined to. Maybe just cut the legs and slide them a bit higher on the body.
Even so, this is very sexy. I do so like suggestive, without all the Hustler style nudity. The socks are the best. I luff that so much. I dunno why, seeing as furries prolly would never need them, and it'd ruffle their fur something wicked. X3

Looking at just the top and just the bottom together looks fine to me. As has
been stated many times prior, where they meet seems to be what is in question.
Not being particularly good at anatomy or anything the sort, all I can do is mirror
those opinions which seem correct to me. (Looking at it a second time though,
I wonder about the angle of her hips between the legs and the torso. It's not
impossible, but it looks somewhat uncomfortable.)
Now that I feel that I have at least tried to answer your call for help, I will say that
I am exceptionally happy to see an upload from you. Never feel obligated to give
us art. When you do that, it's not a treat for us anymore. XD The fact that you
care enough about your fans to feel that way, though, means a lot, and for that,
I offer you a heart-felt thank you.
I really like the drawing. The emotion is awesome, and I swear, you draw some of
the best busts I've ever seen. I -don't- save pictures to my computer, and I still caved
in and saved one of yours to mine.
Once again, thank you very much for sharing, and I look forward to any future art
you share with us.
Sincerely,
~Ikaeru, man of many hats and the leaver of long comments.

Yours looks beautiful! You draw the faces and breasts so perfect, I'm sure you already know, but this is also practice on my commenting/crit skills because I don't do it enough. I also agree with the above comment that her left leg is curving in a bit too much. And maybe her bottom half (legs and butt) need to be turned slight few degrees to look more natural, but whatever you have in mind, you're the artist.
I do love the detail you put into the clothing too. :) I really want to see this work finished. <3

I have some others things of note that others didn't point out. Everything is from your character's perspective.
The left knee needs to protrude more, especially considering the angle you have her leg at.
For the image itself I think it's fine, but if you want to add any sort of background, do note that her shirt seems to be dropping off an edge near the bottom, while her hair seems to pool on a flat surface.
Her left arm...point blank, what's up with it? It needs to be fixed, unless there's an unexplained concept behind it, because there's no way your upper arm can comfortably bend back like that, and then have the upper arm come forward. You would want her arm to come more out towards the side.
As for the tail, I might suggest having it rest along-side her, mimicking her hair, or curling around her in the composition to bring the focus back to her face.

That I simply enjoy whatever art you decide to post here.
I am sorry I cannot offer very good critique or why, all because I am not as skilled at art or anatomy to offer anything helpful.
But with that being said, I wish to ask if I can save this pic to my folder with your other art pics?
No need worry, I am only using them as reference, as I am finally trying to break free of my multi year art block, where I havent held a pencil in the past 3 years, up until a few days ago, where looking at your art on here, has given me the gumption to start drawing again, and liking it.
thank you most kindly...
