The duo see forest, hills, swamps, wicked spirits and outlaws. How shiny the gold treasure is in actuality? Read the story to see. The story draws a bit from Finnish folklore, reflected by the ways of the wolverine and the supernatural beings.

Their adventure isn't exactly totally easy, cultures collide many times before the end. The story deepens the picture of the wolverine culture, and also introduces the Rus culture in the form of the fur trader.

A band of foreigners come to visit the north edge and they want to get a taste how the natives live. Osma the Wolverine is happy to show that to them. Colliding of cultures is inevitable, but in the end everyone is happy, except the poor leader of the group. This story draws humor from the difference of cultures and quick situations caused by ignorance towards the foreign culture.
