I was shifting through my old memorabilia from the days of my youth (otherwise known as the crap in the boxes and closet) and, to my delight, I found an old masterpiece of mine.
It is a large piece that was made up of many pieces of drawn and colored paper rolled up and folded at places with the initial page dated 10/13/95. The scene played out is a Christmas scene in a made up city. From memory, it took me a while to make having finished in the middle of December (an example of forethought on my part, LOL). In this picture I clearly lacked the concept of consistent size ,foreshortening and horizon lines. LOL. ^\/^.
The paper I used varied greatly and is the reason for the odd and crude placement. To scan it I had to carefully cut along the taped parts. The scanning was difficult due to the tendency of the paper to bend and, as such, I missed a few slight parts in places (not the middle ones though). The paper I used in the middle is clearly not acid free and has turned an odd yellowish color. The gap is due to the difference in size and the fact that I drew on the tape to make amends for the difference in size. LOL. ^\/^.
