Soft. Relaxing. Soothing. Very pretty.
A pastorale is what people who live in cities think living in the country would sound like. I've lived in the country, seven miles from the nearest town. Unlike real country life, this song has no crickets, no snakes that sneak into your shower, and no slipping in horse manure.
But the song turns lush and gorgeous.
Enjoy!

Interesting that you should mentioned that on the same day that I upload this.
What's the "old" saying? "Red on yellow kill a fellow; red on black, venom lack."?

*blush* Thank you.
I'm not sure what you mean by an unusual cadence, though. IIRC (I don't have the music in front of me), the song as a whole ends on a I64 - V - I cadence.
Maybe I didn't establish the root scale well enough? Most of the song is in the dominant scale (or the dominant of the dominant...)

No, your first cover has to be something clever based on your name and your character. Something like a bag of snacks with an otter on it and the brand "Tasty Chip" on the front. Or a close-up of a computer motherboard with all the IC's having the image of an otter etched on them and the logo "Latest Chip Set". ^_^ Oh, and your pastoral is... well, pastoral!
