FINALLY IT IS DONE
The huge (literally) artwork i did for
makaze, his squirrel heroine Candela unsinking a rescue cutter in some MASSIVE gale. She gets it done.
This was a commission! And possibly one of the last of this kind as I move to better faster ways of getting arts done and out for each of you. I'm remaking things better for 2017-- but don't worry, I might continue huge paintings like this (the original has more than 4x the pixels!)-- if the idea is one I can paint fast and really aligns with my interests and is supahfun and fast to do!
Enjoy! I learned SO VERY MUCH about creating a female figure, and especially making thicc legs and body heehee-- I can't help it, huge thighs and a strong real lady body are great things to paint. There should be a revision coming of this too, as I know it could be stronger and more gripping and more 'living.'

rooth last year was an even neater idea to me! Every year (I think?) Rooth does a big commission project for artists and it was helpful macros that year :D Go see his stuff if you haven't already!

Thank you so very much Doran. :) And it's not finiiished! I should push more to really make it... how it should be. I bet in like five years I could do the same pic and better in like 1/30th the time. :3 And i can't wait to be able to do that with ease and really put out what I wanted. Thank you for looking, and giving your time and attention. *hugs in*
I can definitely relate to that! I feel like I'm still quite slow at producing art and getting it to look the way I want, but I think that is something that's gotten better and better lately. Especially since I started taking commissions. The extra pressure and sense of responsibility helps kick my tail in gear a bit. >..<
But yeah, this is beautiful. :)
