"How much time?" D asked
"Time before we're out of power, a munite at least." Alexa said "Before we crash into the planet and possible die, 6 minutes."
"Try and put all power into the firing and detonation system." Artison said and grabbed onto the floor
"What? why?" Alexa said "Your last plan doomed us just to save some ship!"
"Unless yoou have another plan," Deimos shouted "Do as he says. fire the mines!"
"That's not what I said!" Artison said "I wanted that but still! Send all power to the mine and deployment, and fire he last rounds!"
D held his device near the computerand in a tap the lights went dead, and they all began to float "Did we just lose gravity?"
"He said all power, so that's what I did." Alexa said
"So this is zeor gravity." D smiled and then kicked off a wall "This is cool!"
"For you." Alexa said "Plus, now we've got mines shot beneath us."
"Detonate the second round!" Artison said, then he flipped his goggles over his eyes and his hands dug into the floor "Brace for impact!"
The boom was, heard, and felt as D and Deimos was slammed into the ceiling.
"Ow, wel there goes the fun..." D said, groaning as he started to float back up. "What was that suppose to do?"
"I get it!" Deimos shouted "The explosion slowed out decent!" and he sat upright, as he drifted toward a wall. "And that's what the other's for!"
"Correct, Deimos," Artison smiled and dug his burning hands intot he floor "But that's not enough though, I know it!"
"He's right," Alexa said "the impact is still going to splatter out selves on impact or be crushed by this part of the ship collapsing on itself.
"So it doesn't matter?" D said "Couldn't you be more uplifting on things?"
"You'll get to see heaven?" Alexa shrugged from her projector
"Not on my watch!" Artison said and ripped out a piece of the floor, burning hot "As long as we're alive we have time." he pulled it out more "Alexa, prime the last mines for detonation. That'll be out timer. Now help me make some braces!"
Deimos just looked at him "You're planning to rip this apart more? How's that gonna hel?!"
"If we can set up enough braces, they'll take the shock so there's no cave it." Artison said and pulled some more "D, use that sword and cut out some strips!"
"Aye aye!" D turned his sword on and plunged it into the wall .
"Then what about us hitting ground?" Alexa said "As stated, "The implact will splat us because of syntrifical force."
"We need something to stretch out the shock and inertia." Artison said "Any safety belts or air bags on these ships?"
"Well, I think there's wires between the hulls" Deimos said "I don't know if their elastic though."
"We'll find out then," Artison said and pulled out more of the floor "Get in there and rip some out!"
Deimos didn't even even question it; he just climbed in and started ripping out wires that were as long as they could get.
The three spent time reinforcing the inside of the ship piece. D would cut up parts of the floor and walls, then Artison would weld them into place like beams. Deimos on the other hand was loosely tying down wires between the beams like a safty net as fast as he could, and once done the three would meat together and tie eachother down.
Once done, a minute past before the mines went off.
It was only seconds later before impact.
