Sometimes even Ciara needs some time to herself. Dressed in her most comfortable clothes, she slipped out of her castle by one of its many back doors and left the problems of ruling her kingdom and all her tiresome courtiers and bodyguards behind to stroll along an peaceful stretch of sand that only she knows about. As she walked, she looked out over the rolling ocean and wondered about the people who must live over the horizon somewhere and about the future of her own land. She had spent so many years working to make Viridis a paradise, but there are still plenty of problems to be solved and she can't help but wonder what sort of world the child she's carrying would inherit.

Not to tease or anything but you have several pictures of her that I've heard you say are one of your favorite pictures of her. Do you have a favorite of all of them? (I know this is kind of a wiseacre thing to say, but you know me. If I thinks it I says it. ;3)

Ha, I probably do. You know me, I can't pick just one favorite of anything. That and I think that part of that has to do with Ciara being my most beloved character of all of them. I feel kind of bad saying so, since I do love them all, but there's just something special about her, to me. Maybe it's because she's my firstborn, so to speak, as she was the first furry character I ever made and fell in love with. Maybe it's because I came within a gnats wing of picking her as my avatar instead, and there's still a kind of a connection there. I don't mean to come across as inconsistent, but I am, when it comes to her and favorite pictures. There are plenty that are my favorites for different reasons, sometimes for being sexy, or cute, or, as in this case, being connected to something special like Emer and sharing her and the events that, ah, led up to her with someone so special as you.
Short answer is, I guess, it's Ciara and she's my precious.
And it's okay! You know I don't mind you asking questions, or letting me know when I'm being dumb, or silly. So you're fine!

I don't think you are ever dumb or silly. Well, maybe silly once in a while when you're bored and ...um...imbibing? LOL
(of course I am never silly. That's why I get called a silly bunny at least once a day. He he.)
But, truth to tell, your saying that you have different kinds of favorite pictures of Ciara resonates with me because I'm the same way with pictures of Liane (in particular) and other characters....some of them mine and some belonging to other people....like you for instance. I think it would be impossible for me to pick one picture of Liane or one picture of Jessamine or of them together, for instance, as my all time very favorite. Or if I did, it would be a different one tomorrow or maybe even in an hour. I enjoy all of them. Often for different reasons.

Aw, I know, hon. But I can put my foot in my mouth pretty well sometimes! And I really should learn to stay away from the keyboard after a drink or two. Not that I drink like I used to in college, though!

Oh, Emer's a little troublemaker for sure! That comes as a surprise to no-one, least of all her mother. Fortunately, she's also inherited Ciara's sense of duty and honor, too. And since she's Liane's kid, too, it's safe to say she's a good kid all the way around.
I love this picture. Moments like this are very definitely worth treasuring, and I just love the feeling of serenity and thoughtfulness that it conveys. I really should let Ciara have more moments like this from time to time.
