I love the style of Night in the Woods so much, as do I love Mae. She is my cinnamon roll cat-daughter and I will protect her!
I wanted to try out digital paint one more time but with something different, one day I'd like to make these available for commission!
I found other artists tend to show Mae with a baseball bat, often her more out of control side. I felt that when she was on bass and playing with her friends she was more fun and all those things that bothered her melted away for a small moment, so I wanted to draw that.
