Because I'm a nerd and brain won't stop screaming 'til I explain this: the "spindly johnny" is a reference to Caddicarus' review of Scooby Doo & the Cyber Chase, where he refers to the main villain as the "spindly johnny"... said main villain also has a suprisingly striking resemblance to Ross here.
