Re-drew the map for my little world here, may go about changing bits of it, most noteably I made the continents bigger, added one, and moved Okea to the northern hemisphere. Things may get moved and resized some more. Just some sketchy ideas really :P

Quick nation rundown:
Ursur: Nazi analog, hey 1930's type of world needs a 1930's enemy and as bad guys nazis are the best. Anyway they are sort of the world's troublemakers, after the last big war they were beaten back and a radical government took power. Years later they focused their resources on destroying Okea as revenge for the perceived reason for their past military failures. They are otherwise quietly moving to expand again.

West Ursur: Broke off after the last big war, reabsorbed on rise of fanatical government

Union of Arcion Republics: Soviet Union analog with somewhat better living conditions, still very soviet like though. Laura is from there.

Okea: It's in the big red hatched ring of death, basically after the Okean-Ursur war the whole place is an NBC hazard nightmare save for a few pockets and it's generally accepted that you dont go there for any reason. A huge poisonous dead zone. Previously sort of a US/UK kind of place, extending it's Naval and air forces all over the world sort of keeping the peace while trying to remain "neutral". Dragged into a few wars and finally destroyed party by Ursur and partly by itself in a scotched earth campaign. Refugees and remnant forces scattered throughout the rest of the world. Drake, Vasha, and most pirates are from here.

Federated Nations of Tinneos: USA analog, pragmatic, unruly, crazy. Isolationist and strong enough to enforce it.

The Alliance: New and havent come up with a better name yet, sort of a western Europe analog.

Wild Sancto: Wild Country, basically a whole continent of tribes and feudal societies, mostly primitive and warlike. Territories and nationalities shift often enough that the rest of the civilized world refuses to map it. Not industrialized and unstable leading to a general lack of technology. A bit of an Africa analog. Taipa, Daku, and Sherry are from here.

Arctica: Northern polar cap, sparsely inhabited by primitive indigenous people and so is mostly ignored by the rest of the world.

South Cap Wastes: Inhabitants are few and far between, mostly ignored by the rest of the world.

Oceans: Not much is known about ocean society, terrestrial society mostly ignores them, although in some remote areas trade and tourism occurs. Some oceanic people capable of surviving out of water have moved out of the ocean to land but this is rare. Much of Oceanic society is just as happy to ignore terrestrial society as terrestrial society is to ignore oceanic society.

Frontier Island: A small island in the middle of the Atlion Ocean, once an Okean Navy base it was abandoned as per terms of a treaty. Sherry moved in with her team providing a stopover with fuel, hotel/brothel, bar, docks, airship docks, runway, and limited hanger space. Popular among merchant vessels, pirates, mercenaries, and anyone seeking safe haven for a while. The rules are simple, no fighting beyond fists within radio range of the island and everyone is equal.
