IOF: Tangles the innocent Technospider
"It simple attack vector.. If SQL string is not put in prepared statement, then hacker can do bad thing to your database, like, like DROP table.. that very, very bad.. try use golang or python instead of PHP to build website for your drawing.. it really helpful, it prepare statement for you!"
- Tangles, trying really really hard to be helpful
Aww, look at Tangles! This derpy 9 year old boy has a heart of gold (or silicon?). He genuinely wants to help you! He's very innocent, and unusually mature at his age. He's often the one to give emotional support to his older sister, Runa, to help her cope with her identity issues. He cares deeply about everyone and is one of the better listeners out there; he is more likely to listen and remember exactly what you said, and build a mental profile of what you like, what you've been through and what you dream of. Tangles is a good friend.
He is a one-trick pony at best; he has nearly endless knowledge on anything computer and internet related. He has some strange computer-related abilities, like the ability to connect his body to a USB to read computer data, and the ability to read wireless signals. Outside the internet-related abilities, he constantly seeks the simpler pleasures in life, like making friends, eating tasty food, and seeking affection. He tends to dribble blue spit. This blue material is a high-tech liquid coolant, and his body feels like soft and squishy on the outside, whereas his legs are hard.
Sadly, like any nine year old, he is very vulnerable and naive, and needs extra care and protection. He's especially sensitive to loud voices, and is quick to run away crying if two people nearby raise their voices for any reason.. even if they're just joking. There's a reason why..
Tangles, like any other freak, was once a human. He is one of the youngest ones to ever have this transformation at 8 years old, an event that happened shortly after his father was both framed and financially ruined by a group of elite hackers, as a result of a complicated, long-standing feud far beyond Tangles' understanding. This technological and legal showdown had led to a domino effect of terrible events, which caused the once-happy family to crumble. There was yelling, there was panic and doom, and this caused both Runa and Tangles to cave in to the stress and turn all.. freaky.
Poor little Tangles thought that jumping into the computer monitor of his father's Mainframe would let him politely ask the hackers to stop ruining daddy's life, thinking that it would solve everything, thinking that they were doing all this by mistake.. but little did he know that he would instead end up fusing with his father's high-tech computer, and end up becoming the strange technospider he is now.
He doesn't know why anyone in the world would want to be mean to someone else, and to this day he genuinely believes that these elusive hackers did all this by mistake..
Would you have the heart to tell him the truth about the world..?

Some things just don't work out...
That's quite the backstory you made for the poor little guy... Will he be ok?
Also... Runa? That's the name of his sister?
... It's also the name of a character I paired with Dogryme, so... Not saying you have to change it, just, weird that you came up with that while I have held the name for a while...

Awwh.. Tangles will be ok, Katie will be his new mommy! There's this whole thing where the freaks kindda can't live with the humans because.. complicated and far reaching effects!
As for the name Runa, WOW, that's like the same feeling when you meet someone who's wearing a similar shirt! xD Though much like real life names, it's no surprise that you find a similar name running around the internet for a character~ :3

Ok... complicated and far reaching effects? Like what?
Also, yeah, for me it feels awkward. It's like someone comes up with a new way to bring attention to themselves at a club and they go over with this new hairdo? And then they find at least one other person doing the same thing there, and it kind of creates this awkward tension between them where it's like "dude, stop stealing my look" and the other guy's like "How was I supposed to know you'd come here with that?" and it's just like "..." as they stare at eachother baffled by the coincidence.
