I'm just glad to know that someone else on FA is familiar with Pennington; I grew up with his work on paperback covers, but he's not as well known as he used to be... or as he should be.

That I can actually compare a detail of someone's work here to work done long ago, in a completely different field, gives me hope that certain names and examples might live on in a fandom that seems largely unaware of the past. And for that, I thank you.

I....love....this! It has a dark, mysterious feel about it and it draws you in.

It's very rare when I audibly say "whoa" when I look at an image, and I just did.
Absolutely amazing, I love it.

I spy two creatures/demons in the foreground.
Love the color scheme as well. The red glow draws my eyes the most though.
But the side of that mountain looks wonderful.
