Makes me wonder how long mega evolution can last.

Since Den has generations worth of training, he's able to contain it's power easily. He can walk around evolved for hours and not have an issue. A lot of the new guys rolling around flaunting Mega Evolution don't normally last that long since they either aren't fully physically or mentally prepared to contain the boost in power.

For the Maya stories, The 'fake key stones' some of the baddies use are lighter-versions of the original key stones. There's a boost in power, but it's effects have a short time frame, and they're only poweful enough to prevent them from going haywire. They are one time use items too, so if they wanted to evolve again, they would need to carry more fake stones with them.

I love his Mega Evolved so much too, it's hard not to draw him like that sometimes, but, your right. He definately needs to be drawn not mega evolved more.
