I thought a blanket party was basically covering a person head to toe in their blanket, pulling it tight, while they are on their bed, then whaling on them with socks, pillow cases or blankets full of various hard things depending on how badly they were getting beaten? As in, "Full Metal Jacket" with the socks full of soaps.
