• Biography: Elzia is a member of the fire dragon clan who was born to a couple who had been under siege from untrustworthy earth dragons who sought to erase their legacy long before the degeneration of dragons became a threat. Her parents fought valiantly, but they knew they would not last much longer and so hid Elzia somewhere safe to ensure her safety, but all the while left a decoy for the enemy dragons. They were killed and the decoy was destroyed, with the earth dragons unaware that the real Elzia lives to tell her tale, living safely among a family of a fire dragon father and divine dragon mother, with their hybrid daughter Aglaia. She grew attached to Aglaia in no time and Aglaia treated Elzia like she was truly part of the family despite the fact she came from another family. So much in fact, the two were hardly separable. At age 800, the era of dragons was coming to an end and Elzia was worried she’d become a beast like the other dragons that refused to cooperate, and so was given a firestone by Aglaia, and she was promptly put to sleep for a millennium while Aglaia and Golnath stood guard over their sleeping friends as they themselves had no fear of degenerating as noted by the divine dragons. When she awoke a millennium later, she learned the earth dragons hunting her were slain and she was now safe from being hunted, that is until the day she learned Medeus had returned and waged the war of shadows on Arachnea. She didn’t plan on taking part of the action, but gladly did so after learning that members of her kind lived, but had grown to loathe humans, something she had wished didn’t transgress. She never could convince Mannu & Khozen to look on the bright side of humanity and so helped to end their lives as quickly as possible without any regrets as she knew it had to be done. It was this fight that gave her the scars she had now. She even assisted in the War of Heroes, and after a while of staying at Marth’s castle, she, along with her adopted sister Aglaia, and fellow manaketes, moved into a new place to live, namely a home full of monsters, where they were warmly accepted. Elzia is a rather unusual fire dragon as she is stoic and calm whereas most would be hot-blooded and vicious, not to mention temperamental. Her butterfly hairclips are her prized possession and is hardly seen without them in her hair. She adores a relaxing mud bath, but hates it when her food is served raw. The least likely to throw a tantrum.
• Abilities: Elzia is hardly one for fights, but she knows a nice deal of fire magic in her human form, preferring it over physical confrontation any day. She’s known to use minor fire spells to give food served to her raw some zing due to how much she hates having her food served raw, or underdone. She always has her firestone handy in case the need to change into a dragon arises. As a dragon, Elzia is far stronger than she is as a human. She has very sharp fangs & claws and will not hesitate to use them if she feels the need to do so. Her wings give her the power of flight and she can stay airborne for a long time. But her trump card as a dragon is her fire breath. It is at its hottest when she needs it to be and can easily burn her foes to ash if necessary, but she prefers to hold back her flame’s potency as she doesn’t wish to harm the wilderness she adores so much.
