A while ago I made a post about how I wanted to try making some anthro adoptables. Well Mia here is one of my practice runs. She's also one of the few digital pieces I've truly put effort and work into. It was a nice exercise for both a character design and to experiment in a different medium. I will say that if I do eventually go full digital, I'll have to get a display tablet. I've tried on a pad tablet multiple times and it just doesn't work well for me. I have to see where my pen touches the surface and not just an icon. It's not to say I won't continue to try digital (because I certainly can't afford a legit display tablet,) but traditional is still my natural element.
As far as Mia's details, she's a dog (no specific breed) whose quite athletic but also very creative. I'll give her a full bio soon enough, but figured the art was the main focus anyway.
Be on the look out for more of my anthro designs. None of these will be adoptable as I'm getting the feel for character design, but I'll make sure to post when I have adopts available.
