Benjamin "Starfrog" Hunter III is a famous UDF cadet. Not because he's really done much, but because his father and grandfather before him were some of the best officers on the UDF. While he is still competent in what he does, he is clearly unable to match up to his family name and is quite clumsy in comparison. This doesn't phase him however, as being the son of a famous officer gives him an ego the size of the galaxy, which only inflates even more with every successful mission.
He does get his comeuppance however. Villains know of his big weakness and like to exploit it to the maximum at any given opportunity, whether it be to extract information, keep him hostage, or simply deflate that ego a little.
He is good friends with Angela, the two of them going on missions together quite often. Usually Starfrog is safe when on trips with Angela, as she tends to carry the large minigun to keep him save. But with his rash nature, sometimes the missions still don't go as planned, which infuriates his commanding officer.
His main goal is to capture the leader of the Lame Beard Pirates, a band that has been recently terrorizing the universe at large with their unique ship. Many years prior, the Lame Beard Pirates kidnap his mother, and while she is safe and sound now, he has always been determined to bring them to justice.
It never goes well...

Starfrog started as a fictional TV series within Cindy's Adventures. It was never supposed to get beyond just a lame title starring a frog that went on space adventures. But as the idea rattled in my brain, I decided to expand upon it.
This image attempts to deviate from my usual style somewhat...and I do like how it came out. It's simple, but a good kind of simple. But you can easily tell my style is in there.

More characters will be getting redux'd, with Angela up next. I swear all I'm doing is redux-ing every character I've ever done instead of attempting to be original.
