Arrrgh, my camera...it's a nice one, but it was being so stubborn!! I may take new pictures out in the sunshine tomorrow (as long as it IS sunny...we have such random spring/summer weather), but mebbe not... I might just go ahead and pack her up tonight to mail her off as early as possible. She's sooo cute... I have two more pictures to stick in my scraps, but neither those nor this one really do justice to how cute she is. I actually applied another coat of glaze after these were taken, so she's even smoother now.
TL;DR version: spazzykoneko commissioned this and this is how it turned out - I love it! <3

Gotta love the extra detail on this; the individual fingers instead of little round blocks, the fur inside the ears, and the other small-and-fragile touches are wonderful and take a lot of skill to get to work.
It's also going to make it crazy hard to ship--do you ship these sculptures to their respective commissioners? I'm sorta assuming you do, but if not, nevermind. XP

I do ship them out, yes. I have her all packed up and ready to go now... Basically I wrap a sculpture up in tissue paper until it's a huge and totally unrecognizable blob, and then I wrap that up in TONS of bubble wrap... After that, I simply put plastic air packets in the bottom, the bubble wrap blob in the middle, and more air packets on top. I don't leave any room for stuff inside the box to shift around, so I've never had a sculpture arrive all chipped and battered. I had one thing a long time ago get slightly cracked at the base of its ear (a shiny Umbreon), but I think someone dropped it during transit. It was fine before I sent it out...
If you do want to commission something just let me know. I'll accept payments, too, if one big lump of cash is too much since my sculptures aren't exactly cheap...lotsa work, y'know. Anyway, thanks again!! :3
