Whoot, batch One done and done
EDIT: Apparently the nice fellas at NITW would rather folks not make this a regular thing, and im cool with this all being a one off. But hey dudes, feel free to go get some official merch, that game is rad.

commissioned the whole row, but the last feller in it is

Not open for any more right now, just keep an eye on those journals. I wanna get everything else at least started first since these take a surprising while.
Now i gotta go paint my entire house for the rest of the day

If I may just interject for a moment, I found this on someone else's recreation of the art style - https://mobile.twitter.com/bombsfal.....22658989510656 Apparently commissions are fine, but taking the art and applying it to a t-shirt or like a lunch box, a.k.a. MERCHANDISE isn't fine.
I dont know too much about it honestly, but ive seen at least one or two of their animators personal work and i really dig it. Plus i know if i made a game myself, especially with a small team, id want to sell all that merch myself. (Plus im sure itll be higher quality coming from the source).
But also, thanks man! I think itd probably be a better idea to push my own style too. But it was a fun little one month detour.

Yeah, sure, it's their right and I understand it in a way. On the other hand I'm sure most people would value merch from the original source much more by default (the adoptable scene is pretty much proof for that) and don't really think one would have to worry about such things. Not saying they are in the wrong, but most indie devs I've seen have been more relaxed on that stuff.
But yeah, that's a thing, too. I think going with some kind of source material is definitely fun, but I'm always iffy on focusing on things other people actually created too much, personally. To each their own in that regard, too, though.
(And yeah, I'll definitely have to get that icon of my anteater dude we were talking about before when I actually have some cash again!)

Yeah i see what you mean. I know fan merch is pretty common with a lot of games, indie or otherwise. Especially since its such a pretty game. But its there choice and i can dig it.
(Also, i look forward to that dude, you're one of the folks that has some real good character designs!)
