It is, but the purpose of Patreon is to support artists so they can keep making things like these. Full-time artists rarely have the luxury to make art that isn't for a client, while Patreon provides a way for artists to draw what they like without sacrificing income.
If artists didn't make Patreon-exclusive art, it would defeat the purpose of having one.

Okay. then I am not sorry to have written this. I do post art for free all the time.. It is okay to do art for Parteon only and Fa too but only for Patreon and jsut teasing them on Fa is not nice. I do not like this .. (btw. I also do not have much income but I do art for fun and commissions.. I do not like this kind of doign art. I mean .. would he draw at all if there would be no Patreon ?
It is also unfair using a for free website to advertise yourseld and then demand payment but give a shit about the website (fa) itself. usually you would have to pay a lot for that .
and well I am an artist too, have you noticed ? I jsut draw for the fun of it.. I like to share. I amen you can do stuff for Patreon AND for fa and for free but not only for Patreon . I do not really like this. As said. He can put this ads up for free.. better way would be f. e. to put up the pics up here in lower resolution than on Patreon or offer free sketeches/ art for patreon users.. but this way.. I do not support and like. And I would not pay an artist that is working like this.

Well on Inkbunny there is a guy doing a while adventure for free.. and well there are many musicians putting music up for free on youtube . and well. go through FA there are MANY that.. erm.. draw for free. many that write stories for free... Oo what is up with you ? Oo Even Foxamoore provides his whole albums for free on youtube .. your argument is weak

As a friend of Sollyz, thank you for your opinion. She is not very good at English. I will let her know.
First, She still keep drawing even if there's no patreon. but in order to make her living she need money and patreon is the main source of money of her income. However she still get her personal drawing from time to time. ( in her gallery ). Also she recently study doing animation which make her less free to her drawing.
but me and sollyz understand your opinion. she will showing her more draw often from now on.

Thank you for your answer on Sollyz behalf. At first : I do totally understand she is making her living on drawing and so needs the money from patreon. there is nothing to argue about that .
It is jsut that I think she should also provide the art for free - in a lower resolution - or maybe keeping some pics patreon only and some for Fa too. It is not that she should show all pics, but at least some ^^
And I wish her luck on her studying. That for sure explains why she would draw slower

I do agree by all the things you said before.
I know so many artists doing art for the fun without even talking about money, it does exists but on the internet it's just rare.
People have to know that all artists are not only on the internet and can do art for their passion outside of it.

I agree on this and this is only a idea and I need to know what others think but some people on FA have patron and release there content like 1-2 months after it has been released on patron so in a way it's like you get to see it ealrly and then after a long while it gets released for everybody to see
Barachan and U-18chan are well known Websites for posting Patreon-exclusive Art. But It depends on luck whether someone will eventually post it. If other Furry Artist's could offer past months Content on Gumroad , I find it acceptable ( If they make it cheap ) . Patreon is not to everyone's liking and that's understandable. But what I don't understand is why anyone would complain about having to pay only 5/10/15$ , since it's really cheap and everyone could afford it. But posting those Contents for free on Furaffinity does sound pretty nice.
